South East Family Hero 2014 Torron Lee-Dewar

Torron Lee Dewar is the founder of The Alliance Dance Unit, which has made a difference to many peoples lives in the fight against anti-social behaviour.

At aged 16 Torron founded the unit which consisted of only 4 dancers practicing in his grandmother’s back garden. Torron has a real passion for dance and continues to expand the unit, representing the UK with pride in every way possible.

The student who nominated Torron explained, he helped to channel her anger and upset into preforming with him on stage and without his support she would not be here today.

Torron is described as a role model by all who know him; a community hero who strives to keep students away from the negative issues in life and continually supports them to reach their potential as confident performers.
