    The Underwear Rule - NSPCC

Talk PANTS and help keep your child safe from abuse

We believe that everyone has a role to play to help prevent the sexual abuse of children.

The Underwear Rule from the NSPCC is a simple way to help  parents keep their children safe from abuse by teaching them that:
    • their body belongs to them
    • they have a right to say no, and
    • they should always tell an adult if they’re upset or worried.

We know talking to your child about their private parts and staying safe can seem difficult, but it doesn’t have to be scary.

Working closely with parents, the NSPCC has created a free, easy-to-remember guide Talk PANTS to help them explain and children understand the key points of the Underwear Rule.

Simple conversations can help protect children from abuse. Talk PANTS and you’ve got it covered.
