Childcare Bill Policy Statement provides some clarity while we wait for 'pivotal' funding announcement

Commenting on the publication of the Childcare Bill Policy Statement, Imelda Redmond CBE, Chief Executive of 4Children said:

4Children welcomes this statement which provides further detail around the 30 hour offer, particularly on the issue of eligibility.

It is good news that the offer will be delivered as an extension of the current 15 hours, through Local Authorities, which will help to minimise disruption.

We await further information in the Autumn statement regarding the funding allocation, which will be pivotal to the success of the programme.”
